Watts Contemporary Gallery
I attended the opening of the Peace Garden at Loseley Fields Primary School this morning. There was a very moving assembly where children sang and spoke about what the garden meant to them and how they were looking after the plants.
Over the past couple of months all of the children at the school has taken part in workshops led by the Gallery to make terracotta wind chimes, plant tags and tiles for the garden. The pottery pieces were inspired by the Watts Chapel, its symbols and links to nature. It was lovely to see all their work proudly on display along with new planting, benches and mosaics.
