Heritage Officer

Salary: £23,000

Watts Gallery - Artists' Village is a national centre for the study and enjoyment of Victorian art, design, architecture and social history. The Artists' Village is made up of Watts Gallery, Watts Chapel and Cemetery, the Pottery Buildings, and Watts Studios at Limnerslease (opened in January 2016).

We are now seeking a fixed-term Heritage Officer to continue the restoration and development of Watts Gallery - Artists' Village. The Heritage Officer will focus on completing the restoration of Limnerslease, the Arts & Crafts house built for G F Watts and Mary Watts in 1891, and Watts Chapel and Cemetery.

The successful candidate will have broad experience of working with historic buildings, landscapes and artworks in a heritage environment.
