Surrey Life Review of 'Picturing the Studio: Photographs of the Rob Dickins Collection'
Surrey Life has reviewed the new exhibition Picturing the Studio: Photographs of the Rob Dickins Collection which features photographs from the Rob Dickins collection, usually held in the Watts Gallery photographic archive.
This exhibition explores the studio's of artists and 'celebrity' artists of the time, including Watts, Leighton and Millais.
Tinx Newton from Surrey Life describes the exhibition as 'An intriguing and historically important exhibition (which) explores the enduring fascination with artists in their studios and how they were portrayed through photography in the 19th century.'
