Women played a central role in Pre-Raphaelitism, not just as passive models and muses but as artists. Study painters including Elizabeth Siddal, Evelyn de Morgan and Marie Spartali Stillman through illustrated lectures and in Watts Gallery's De Morgan and Stillman displays. Explore whether their work reveals a distinctive female viewpoint.

The course will include lectures by Dr Hilary Underwood, Claire Longworth, Dr Lucy Ella Rose, Emily Grieve and members of the Watts Gallery - Artists' Village curatorial team.
