A Pre-Raphaelite Journey: Eleanor Fortescue-Brickdale

5 February - 9 June 2013

This is the first exhibition in more than 40 years to showcase work by Eleanor Fortescue-Brickdale (1872-1945) a painter, designer, illustrator and a key figure in the last phase of Pre-Raphaelitism.

This exhibition features more than 30 works, including drawings, paintings, books and designs produced between 1898 and 1934. Eleanor’s work told stories, drew morals and celebrated the beauty of nature.
