The conclusion of a year's residency at Watts Gallery. Having won the Threadneedle Prize of £25,000 in 2009 by public vote, it seems clear that the raw humanity of Wallis's work resonates with audience.
The exhibition will be a welcome opportunity to see the results of her year-long residency and the impact of a variety of community workshops undertaken as part of it.
Sheila Wallis is the 2009 Winsor & Newton Painting Prize winner
