All visits (including self-guided visits), talks and workshops need to be booked at least three weeks in advance.
The Big Draw workshops, Chapel visits in the Autumn Term and all self-guided visits to the Watts Chapel are FREE.
Charges
All prices exclude VAT. Maximum class size 30, minimum group size 10. See individual workshops for prices. Sessions can be tailor-made to suit your needs and will be priced accordingly. Charges include an artist to work with you, paper, clip boards and drawing materials for practical activities. If you cancel a gallery led booking, there is a cancellation fee.
Coach Parking
Coaches must approach Watts Gallery from the North (coming out of Guildford) and drop off outside Watts Gallery. Coaches are not permitted to wait and must park in the Artington Park & Ride and then pick up the group after the visit. More information will be sent with booking confirmation.
Self Guided Group Visits to the Chapel
Self guided school and college visits to the Chapel are free of charge, but need to be booked at least three weeks in advance.
Ratios
We required the minimum of 1 adult per 10 children for group visits
Toilet Facilities
You will find a male and a female toilet at the top end of the car park, near to the tea room. There are no toilets at the Chapel.
Lunches
We do not offer a lunch room, facilities.
Visit Preparation
We strongly advise teachers to make a planning visit and welcome telephone enquiries to discuss your requirements for a group visit. We can also visit you at your school to discuss possible activities. See the Learning Resources pages for images and information to assist you to introduce your group to Watts Gallery and the session you will be taking part in before your visit.

Booking checklist
It is helpful to have the following information to hand when you contact the Gallery to make a booking:
- A selection of dates that your group is available for a visit or outreach session
- Preferred start and finish times
- Number of children and year group, as well as information about any special educational needs
- The workshop, talk or visit you would like to book.
- School contact details.
We strongly advise teachers come to the Chapel before their class visit.
