All visits (including self-guided visits), talks and workshops need to be booked at least three weeks in advance.
Charges
All prices exclude VAT. Maximum class size 30, minimum group size 10. See individual workshops for prices. Sessions can be tailor-made to suit your needs and will be priced accordingly. Charges include an artist to work with you, paper, clip boards and drawing materials for practical activities. If you cancel a gallery led booking, there is a cancellation fee.
Coach Parking
Coaches must approach Watts Gallery from the North (coming out of Guildford) and drop off outside Watts Gallery. Coaches are not permitted to wait and must park in the Artington Park & Ride and then pick up the group after the visit. More information will be sent with booking confirmation.
Self Guided Group Visits to Watts Gallery and Watts Chapel
Self guided school and college visits to the Gallery and Chapel are free of charge, but need to be booked at least three weeks in advance.
Ratios
We require the minimum of 1 adult per 10 children for group visits.
Toilet Facilities
There are three toilets (including one accessible toilet) in the Foyle Art for All Learning Studio. Toilets are also located in the Gallery and to the rear of the Tea Shop. There are no toilets at the Chapel.
Lunch Room
Groups are advised to book the lunch room (seating 15 children) as part of their visit. Lunches can also be eaten outside the Foyle Art for All Learning Studio on the benches provided.
Cloakroom (artist-led sessions only)
Bags and coats can be left in the Foyle Art for All Learning Studio during artist-led Gallery and Chapel visits.
Visit Preparation
We strongly advise teachers to make a planning visit and welcome telephone enquiries to discuss your requirements for a group visit. We can also visit you at your school to discuss possible activities. See the Learning Resources pages for images and information to assist you to introduce your group to Watts Gallery and the session you will be taking part in before your visit.

A selection of dates that your group is available for a visit or outreach session
Preferred start and finish times
Number of children and year group, as well as information about any special educational needs
The workshop, talk or visit you would like to book
School contact details
