An Arts & Crafts Home & Studio
Limnerslease, Compton, was the Autumn/Winter residence of G.F. Watts and Mary Seton Watts and was commissioned from the Arts & Crafts architect Ernest George. It nestles in a hollow of the Surrey hills, on Pilgrim’s Way. On completion of the restoration, Limnerslease will be unique in enabling the public to see the only artist house and studio from the 19th Century. Be amongst the first to see Limnerslease prior to its restoration. This is a unique opportunity to glimpse the start of a nationally important project.
