Thank you to everyone who contributed to the Watts Gallery Team Triathlon. We have been raising money to help save the Watts Studios, the only remaining 19th-century artists’ studio with its collection still intact and the only remaining house and studio designed by Sir Ernest George, the great Arts & Crafts architect. Thanks to your support we have managed to exceed our target of £10,000 and donations are still coming in. Read more.

Thank you to everyone who supported the Big Give Christmas Challenge 2014. With your help Watts Gallery was able to raise a staggering £45,837 including gift aid which will support our ‘Art for All’ learning programme and make a real difference to the lives of some of the most disadvantaged people in our community this Christmas. The golden colours of autumn are spectacular in the Surrey Hills and this year even more so. It is not surprising that Watts’s canvases created at Limnerslease, were so rich in golden colour. With the autumn, brings the pitch darkness which is Compton in Winter. The lanterns look cozy, but this winter we have a special surprise – winter woodland illuminations designed by the artist Mary Branson. Read more.
