Our Patrons’ scheme is for those who wish to give support in a significant way to protect this important collection for future generations. As a Patron, you will be making an investment in the Gallery’s exciting education and conservation programmes and enabling a broader range of visitors to understand and enjoy Watts’s art. While work on the Hope Project takes place, it is planned that the Gallery will be closed for approximately two years. During this time, significant parts of the collection will go on tour starting with exhibitions at The Guildhall and St Paul’s Cathedral from November 2008, an information point will operate on the Watts Estate for visitors to keep them updated on the restoration and our ‘Art for All’ Learning and Education programmes will continue in the surrounding communities. The Patrons’ Scheme will continue with special events and private views. The Hope Project is ambitious and it is vital to the Gallery’s future. Now, more than ever, the Gallery needs your support.
Patrons make an annual gift of £500 or more. Gold Patrons make an annual gift of £1000 or more and are offered additional benefits.
As a Patron or Gold Patron we offer you the opportunity to enjoy a close association with Watts Gallery and invite you to a range of special events. Patrons at both levels may join as a couple or as an individual.
Patrons will receive free entry to the gallery, the Watts Gallery Magazine 3 times a year, a complimentary copy of Watts Gallery’s exhibition catalogue and a Physical Energy lapel pin.
