Free to under 16s and fathers
Visit the Artists' Village this Father's Day and see the new exhibition, The Art of Bedlam: Richard Dadd. Technical brilliance, fantasy and “criminal lunacy" make Dadd one of the most compelling artists of the 19th century. This exhibition of intricate watercolours, fantastical Shakespearean scenes and Middle-Eastern adventures is the first exhibition of Dadd's works for over 40 years. There is fun for all the family with free trails to explore the collection and a tactile trail for under 5s.
Then treat your father to a delicious Welsh rarebit in The Teashop; it's the local mature farmhouse cheddar, the dash of hot mustard and the drop of Hogs Back Stout that makes this secret Watts recipe ever so moreish. Afterwards you'll have plenty of fun exploring the woodlands and picking the perfect Father's Day gift in the Watts Shop.
All fathers can also enjoy free entry to the Artists' Village, and with so much to do for all the family you're guaranteed to find something new at Watts Gallery – Artists' Village this Father's Day.
