On arrival you will wander through the village and floral gardens that inspired Morris's designs.
During this private tour of the exquisite summer home of William Morris, the Friends of Watts Gallery will have exclusive access to the manor and grounds. Following an introductory tour on the history of the manor, guided tours in small groups will provided a fascinating insight into the life of Morris and his acquaintances.
Tying in with our temporary exhibition Poetry in Beauty, see the house that features in Spartali's painting Feeding Doves in the Kitchen Yard (1904).
Lunch will be available to purchase in the scrumptious tea shop. You will be transported to and from Kelmscott Manor by coach from Watts Gallery - Artists' Village.
