Enjoy an enchanting autumn evening at Watts Gallery – Artists' Village. Discover how photography catapulted Victorian society into an era of image obsession at a photography-themed late night opening.
Have your likeness sketched by a Caricaturist and see how others see you. Dress up using Victorian props and take a selfie in our Victorian photo booth, visiting our exhibition Close Up & Personal: Victorians & Their Photographs en route.
Make! Decorative Photo Mounts in the style of Mary Watts's hand-decorated photograph album. Discover how photographic technology opened the doors for people to own an image of themself at a Curator Exhibition Talk.
Enjoy a delicious BBQ on the gallery lawn, catered by the Tea Shop. Sip a glass of prosecco or sample a fresh summer cocktail from Popped Truck. Listen to live music while you try your hand at a traditional garden games in the evening sun including croquet, quoits and giant dominoes.
