Watts Contemporary Gallery
To mark the bicentenary of the birth of G F Watts, Watts Gallery Trust has donated a full set of our Watts publications to the Surrey Library Service, including the new book The Art of G F Watts, written by our Curator Dr Nicholas Tromans.
To celebrate, we are offering 2 for 1 admission* to visit the Artists' Village during August and September 2017 for all Surrey Library Service cardholders and THIS WEEKEND is your final chance to use the offer and visit us.
Get inspired by the books and then visit us. Start your visit at Watts Studios and learn about G F and Mary Watts's life in Compton. Step back in time in the G F Watts Studio, and discover how Mary Watts created the gesso panels for Watts Chapel in the Mary Watts Gallery.
Take a short walk to the Grade I listed Watts Chapel before viewing our permanent collection and temporary exhibitions in Watts Gallery. Stop for refreshments in The Tea Shop or picnic in the woodland, and then finish your day with a visit to Watts Contemporary Gallery and the shop.
Working in conjunction with Surrey County Council.
*Applies to two full price adult admissions only. Valid for redemption of one transaction only during this period. Only valid upon production of a current Surrey Library Service library card. Available Tuesdays - Saturdays (gallery closed Mondays) throughout August and September 2017.
