Victorian Christmas Weekend has begun with clear blue sky and glorious sunshine. Join us today until 4pm and tomorrow (Sunday 26 November) from 10.30am - 4pm. We have our first craft fair, activities running throughout the day, our Victorian Father Christmas, delicious seasonal food and drink and choirs singing across the weekend.

This festive season at Watts Gallery – Artists' Village we are pleased to introduce our first craft market to our Victorian Christmas Weekend, with a small selection of handpicked local artisans and crafters.

MAKE FESTIVE CRAFTS
Take home your handmade crafts, drop in 10.30am – 4pm. Children must be accompanied. Activities are expected to be busy, limited space available.
Christmas Cards & Wrapping Paper Clore Learning Studio - Take inspiration from Mary Watts to make stamp-printed Christmas cards and wrapping paper. The custom of sending Christmas Cards was started in Victorian times by Sir Henry Cole.
Orange Pomanders Limnerslease - Enjoy the festive scent of oranges and cloves while making this traditional Victorian decoration.
Snow dough & Snowscapes Artist in Residence Studio - Toddlers will enjoy making a snowman or just having a play with soft and mouldable snow dough and adding to a giant wintery scene of the Artists' Village.
Clay Robins Foyle Pottery Studio - Mary Watts taught pottery skills to local people and robins feature in her designs. Make a festive clay robin decoration to take home.
Angel Decorations - Available from Limnerslease and The Tea Shop Colour in a beautiful angel inspired by the Watts Chapel interior.
Christmas Baubles Limnerslease Woodland - Decorate craft baubles with patterned paper, stickers, glitter and gems, inspired by the ornate baubles favoured by the Victorians.
Outdoors, 12 Days of Christmas Trail Collect from the Visitor Centre or Watts Studios - Search out the 12 Days of Christmas, hidden throughout the Artists' Village.
Father Christmas Watts Gallery - 10.30, 11.00, 11.30am, 12.30, 1.30, 2.30 & 3.30pm. Performances are approx. 15 mins In the atmospheric Watts Gallery, Meet our Victorian Father Christmas and hear his Christmas tales.
