Winter at the Make Space
Let this winter be a time for making
Bring your family and join in the fun at the Make Space, every Sunday in the Clore Learning Studio from 10am - 12.30pm & 1 - 3pm.

Sunday 16 December:
Children's Christmas Party: Collect a party bag and join us for festive activities. Decorate a crown and Christmas cracker. Create your own decoration out of clay and cut out paper snowflakes to hang up at home.
Listen to Christmas stories and join in with traditional Christmas Party Games.
Christmas Stories and Games will run every hour. Starting at 10.30am (10.30am. 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm) in Limnerslease House.
Sunday 23 December:
Pop-up cards: Cosmos and starry skies inspired pop-up cards.
Sunday 30 December:
Paperweights: create your own beautifully designed glass paperweight. Use templates to create a winter or Christmas inspired design.
Sunday 6 January:
Wintry landscape painting: Paint your own magical winter scene onto a canvas
Sunday 13 January:
Decorative lettering: Using your initials design your own Celtic inspired font. Take inspiration from the beautiful fonts used by Christina Rossetti.
Sunday 20 January:
Bookmaking: Take inspiration by the beautiful books displayed in the Christina Rossetti: Vision & Verse exhibition. Learn basic book binding skills to create your own book.
Sunday 27 January:
Bird feeders and bird collage (in partnership with RSPB): Get creative by hand making bird feeders, finding colours within nature and make a mixed media bird collage. With over half a million people taking part, the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch is the largest wildlife survey in the world.
All over the UK, RSPB ask members of the public to record sightings of wildlife in their gardens or local parks for 1 hour, in order to provide vital information of many different species. Why not complete your Birdwatch here at The Watts Gallery – Artists' Village.
