Can you tell us a bit about what you do here at Watts Gallery?

Hi! I’m Jess, the Development Assistant here at Watts Gallery. My role centres around organising events for our members and funders including our exhibition previews, and supporting administration for our fundraising team.

What is your favourite aspect of your role?

I love being able to meet and chat with our members and funders at events and trips throughout the year – that’s definitely the highlight for me!

What are you excited about that’s coming up this year at Watts Gallery?

I’m really excited for our new temporary exhibition, Victorian Virtual Reality: Photographs from the Brian May Archive of Stereoscopy.

What is your favourite way to get creative in your free time?

In my spare time, I love cooking and trying out new recipes. I’m nowhere near Bake Off, but I love baking when I get the chance.

Tell us an unexpected fact about yourself?

Prior to Watts Gallery, I’ve worked at two royal palaces in previous jobs – Windsor Castle and Kensington Palace, which were amazing places to work!
