Led by Tim Patrick
Learn how to draw and paint from the comfort of your own home in this four-part online course. Under the guidance of our expert tutor, you'll be introduced to the skills and techniques needed to successfully translate the objects and space surrounding you, into a considered composition. Using pencils and oil paint you will observe how space, light, colour and texture interact whilst gaining a deeper understanding in colour mixing and application. A full list of suggested materials will be sent to you upon the purchase of a ticket.
Tim Patrick is an artist and teacher based in London. He trained at The Royal Drawing School and studied traditional portrait painting in Florence. Alongside his own practice, Patrick regularly teaches at Draw in Brighton, Camden Arts Centre and West Dean College. In 2018, his work featured in the Threadneedle Prize and at the Royal Society of Portrait Painters exhibition at the Mall Galleries. Patrick is a recent recipient of the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant in 2019, with previous awardees including Jenny Saville and Ishbel Myerscough. He is currently Artist in Residence at Trinity Buoy Wharf in London
