The Langdon Down Centre is the theatre wing of the old Normansfield Hospital dating back to 1879 and home to the Normansfield Theatre, a stunning Grade II* listed Victorian theatre.
The old Normansfield hospital was established by John Langdon Down who conducted the pioneering research into the syndrome now known as Down's Syndrome.
Much space is also devoted to works of art and carpentry by James Henry Pullen, an autistic savant who was known as the Genius of Earlswood Asylum.
