Join us for a private afternoon tour of Prior's Field - an historic, local girls' school designed by the English Arts & Crafts architect and furniture designer Charles Voysey - concluding with a visit to the school's annual 'AppArt' sculpture exhibition and a delicious cream tea.
When Voysey designed Prior's Field, originally called Prior's Garth, he was at the pinnacle of his career and much of his original interior design work is still evident.
Prior's Field was founded in 1902 by Julia Huxley (mother of author Aldous Huxley), granddaughter of educator and historian Thomas Arnold and a former headmaster of Rugby School, whose portrait by G F Watts is on display in the National Portrait Gallery.
