This will be a very special tour of Madrid and Toledo in the company of expert Gijs van Hensbergen who will offer wonderful insights into Spanish art. Highlights of this year's International Art Tour include a private evening visit to the Museo Sorolla to appreciate the collection of the acclaimed 'John Singer Sergeant of Spain', as well as the stunning Moorish Garden. On the second day, explore the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Spain's great museum of twentieth-century art and home to Picasso's iconic Guernica (1937). During our time in Toledo, see the Monasterio de San Juan de Los Reyes, a burial place for catholic monarchs in the fifteenth century, and the Ermita de San Antonio de la Florida, a Neoclassical chapel decorated with astounding frescoes by Francisco Goya.
