Meet at Sir John Soane's Museum
This visit offers Patrons a private tour of Sir John Soane's Museum: the extraordinary house of one of the greatest English architects, who built and lived in it more than a century and a half ago. The Museum finished a major restoration project in 2016 and has opened spaces never before seen by members of the public. The tour will begin with morning coffee in the Library-Dining Room, followed by a tour of Sir John's house and collection of antiquities, furniture, sculpture, architectural models and paintings, and end in the South Drawing Room.
Afterwards there will be the opportunity to visit the museum's temporary exhibition, Lumière Mystérieuse, which examines Soane's innovative use of light and optical devices in architectural design.
