About The Book of Wild Flowers book launch

Saturday 23 March

11.30am - 12.30pm

To celebrate the launch of The Book of Wild Flowers and in conjunction with her solo exhibition, Patterns of Nature, join artist Angie Lewin and writer Christopher Stocks in conversation at the Watts Contemporary Gallery, hosted by Matthew Pottage, curator for RHS Wisley. This event will take place surrounded by Angie Lewin’s iconic works, with time for any questions after the event. You will also receive a copy of the book.

The Book of Wild Flowers focuses on around 15 of Angie Lewin’s favourite wildflowers and includes reproductions of her distinctive paintings and prints, many created especially for this book. Christopher Stocks’s text reveals the interesting and unusual history and science of wildflowers, including guidance on where they can be found and also cultivation tips.

Sustaining our long-held affection for the British countryside, The Book of Wild Flowers will appeal to anyone who loves British wildflowers.
