Olga is a committed Art Educator with over 25 years of experience in mainstream and independent schools, as well as in gallery and museum settings across the UK, Japan, and Canada. She has held senior roles including Head of Art and Art Curriculum at Thomas’s London Day Schools, and currently leads the Art Department at Highfield and Brookham Schools. There, she established an international learning partnership with IC Fontanellato near Milan, Italy.
Recently named a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA), Olga champions equal access to cultural institutions, believing that visits to galleries and museums should be a vital part of every student’s education, and this was part of her engagement work at the Varley Art Gallery and the Art Gallery of Ontario.
She holds an Honours degree in Fine Art History from York University, a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto, and a Master’s degree in Arts and Learning from Goldsmiths. Olga also leads professional development through INSET sessions for Heads of Art, and has contributed to governance as a School Governor and as Chair of the Haslemere Art Society.
Alongside her educational work, Olga is a practicing artist who exhibits regularly. She mentors emerging creatives through the charity Arts Emergency and consults with local arts organisations to support community-based arts education.
