Cross the threshold marked Private into the Archive Room and gain a deeper understanding of the people behind the artworks—their lives, ideas, and creative processes.
Led by our Curatorial Advisor, Hilary Underwood, who will share her knowledge and expertise, offering fascinating insights into both the collection and the care we take to preserve it for future generations.
The May and June ‘Hour in the Archive’ sessions will focus on drawings which relate to paintings on display in the Gallery. It will reflect our exciting new redisplay of the Historic Galleries, which will take place in May.
The same group of works will feature in both sessions, allowing more people to access the exclusive event, where numbers are strictly limited. A new theme will be featured in the Autumn sessions.
