Woodwork and Furniture at Limnerslease

11 June
12.30 – 1pm

A tour of Limnerslease, the Arts & Crafts home of George Frederic and Mary Watts, designed by architect Ernest George (1839–1922). This tour will focus on the surviving late 19th century woodwork and furniture, with some discussion of the lost interiors. This is an informal session, with the opportunity for discussion and questions.

Portaiture at Historic Galleries

16 July
12.30 – 1pm

An engaging exploration of the newly re-displayed portraiture in the historic galleries. Discover the stories behind the portraits in the collection, how they have been throughly curated, and gain insight into Watt's artistic process when painting portraits.

Textiles and ceramics at Limnerslease

24 September
12.30 – 1pm

Explore the Arts and Crafts textiles and ceramics on display in the house, including object produced by Morris & Co., designs by Philip Webb, and works by other leading Arts and Crafts designers.
