Join us for a relaxing afternoon sketching by candlelight in the atmospheric and festive setting of G F and Mary Watts’s home at Limnerslease.
Enjoy drawing by the light of the Christmas tree while carols are played. Working with contrasting light and shadow learn about techniques as you develop sketches in charcoal and pastel to create dramatic effects.
Please note that real candles are not permitted in our historic spaces. For this workshop, the house is illuminated with artificial flickering candlelight, creating an atmospheric candlelit setting while protecting the historic interiors.
