We’re excited to welcome our youngest visitors back to Watts Tots, with fun-filled Friday mornings designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and connection. Held once a month, these playful and engaging sessions include sensory play, storytelling and hands-on making.

Approx. 3 years and under

Discover the joy of art through stories, songs, and sensory experiences as we explore the house together and go on an art hunt

Approx. 3 years and up

Get stuck into making creative projects in the Clore Studio at Limnerslease, trying out exciting techniques and artistic processes designed for budding young makers.

At the end of each session, both groups come together for shared sensory, (often messy!) play and collaborative, creative fun.

Bubbles, boats and balloons - join us for this fun session experimenting with different ways to paint

4 September
Colourful Creations - Create your own vibrant painting inspired by the beautiful colours and artworks in our collections. Experiment with paint, texture and mark-making together.

2 October
Tiny Treasures - Discover the magic of miniature worlds as we decorate matchboses and fill them with tiny treasures. Inspired by the intricate patterns of William Morris and the joy of collecting little thing.

6 November
Fireworks & Sparkles - Celebrate the colours and excitement of Bonfire Night with sparkling art, colourful prints and sensory play inspired by dazzling fireworks.

4 December
Festive Fun - Get into the festive spirit by making seasonal crafts and keepsakes to take home, with plenty of creativity, stories and Christmas cheer.
