Step into the Present with Here & Now

This year’s New Beginnings Art Awards exhibition invites you to explore the power of the present moment.

Here & Now showcases thought-provoking, emotive work by artists communicating their lived experience of mental health issues, recovery, wellbeing and more. Each aspect offers a unique reflection on what it means to exist in the here and now. From moments of stillness and gratitude to struggle, despair, resilience and transformation, the exhibition captures the emotional landscape of now. How we feel it, how we survive it, and how we find meaning in it. Moving and honest, this collection of work reminds us that being present is not always easy, yet the powerful potential it holds can be breathtaking.

It has encouraged and motivated women to engage in honest, reflective communication and enabled them to express their feelings through the artwork they create.
