Thea Adair

Thea Adair, a Compton resident for the last 30 years, lives in the oldest listed manor house in Compton, dating from 1450. The house was where the manorial courts were held for the area. Thea, formerly Chairman of Compton Parish Council, is Trustee of the Watts Chapel Restoration Trust and sits on the Gardens and Grounds Committee. Thea worked at The Times, with Sir Francis Chichester and at the Victorian Society. She spent five years in the States while working at the British Consulate in Boston. She was employed by the Craftsmen Potters Association and set up the Potters' Camp at Loseley. Thea supports her husband John Adair, an international author on leadership, who travels widely to lecture on his subject.
