How to find us
The nearest station is Guildford. Trains between Waterloo and Guildford leave approximately four times per hour, daily. You can then take a taxi or get a bus directly to Watts Gallery - Artists' Village from Guildford town centre.
On Sundays from 23 April there will be a minibus service (Compo) from Guildford station to the Artists' Village.
Guests visiting on Sundays from 30 April 2017 will have access to our minibus service, Compo. Compo will be at the back of Guildford station every Sunday from 10.40am to collect visitors off the 10am train from London Waterloo (arriving in Guildford at 10.40am). A return Compo service at 3.30pm will take visitors to Guildford station for the 4.05pm train back to London Waterloo.

The 46 bus runs from Guildford town centre (stand 5) directly to the Artists' Village (bus stop Compton - Watts Gallery), running once an hour between 9am and 6pm, Mondays to Saturdays. The journey by bus takes approximately 15 minutes. Download the full timetable below.
Take the B3000 from the A3 signed to Godalming/Compton (brown tourist signs to Watts Gallery). At the roundabout at the end of the slip road take the first left onto the B3000. Take the first left onto Down Lane. Watts Gallery is on the right a few hundred metres down the road. The postcode is GU3 1DQ.
There are two onsite car parks, one at the Gallery and the other at Watts Studios, off Pilgrims Way. We request that walkers not visiting the Artists' Village use the overflow car park at Watts Studios.

Watts Gallery - Artists' Village is located along the North Downs Way, a National Trail of 153 miles. Much of the trail follows the historical Pilgrims' Way, running through Surrey following the line of the North Downs until it reaches the Kentish border, where it continues on to Canterbury.
The Artists' Village is located in the heart of the Surrey Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The OS coordinates for Compton are SU958468.
Walking between Watts Gallery - Artists' Village and Loseley Park
There is a looped walk starting from the Artists' Village that can be followed to Loseley House, a beautiful stately home nearby. There are a number of different paths that can be taken within this loop; all are signposted footpaths or bridleways.
Watts Gallery - Artists' Village is located along National Cycle Route 22, which can be picked up from Puttenham and Guildford. The Artists' Village has two sheffield stands for secure bicycle parking.
There are no coach parking facilities at the Artists' Village. All coaches must be pre-booked and park at Loseley Park once they have dropped off their group at the Gallery.
