Friends, Patrons, Adopt a Watts and Exhibition Circle Members can join us on this trip to Dorich House Museum. This property is part of our Artist’s Studio Museum Network, co-ordinated at Watts Gallery – Artists’ Village.
Surrounded by beautiful Richmond Park, Dorich House is the former studio home of sculptor Dora Gordine. Today a listed property, this 1930s building survives as a unique example of a studio house created by and for a female artist.
The museum is home to Gordine’s paintings, drawings and sculptures, produced in Paris, London and South-East Asia from the 1920s to the 1960s.
The trip will begin with refreshments on arrival, leading to a private, guided tour with curator Dr Fiona Fisher.
Following this, a table for lunch at a nearby restaurant will be booked, payable on the day.
For any questions on the trip, please contact Jessica Hoare, Development Assistant, on Jessica.Hoare@wattsgallery.org.uk or by calling 01483 813581.
