About Scented Visions: Teacher preview

Friday 23 May 2025

5 - 7pm

Teachers can enjoy a private view of Scented Visions: Smell in Art 1850 - 1915. This free event has been created especially for teachers of Art to introduce and inspire new ideas and approaches to interpreting Pre-Raphaelite paintings. We hope to encourage schools to bring GCSE and A Level students to the exhibition which is open daily until 9 November 2025.

Exhibitions Curator, Corinna Henderson will be giving a talk on the exhibition, and a pack of complimentary teaching resources will be available, including information on a selection of paintings with ideas for you to use in the classroom.

This is an opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with fellow art teachers from southeast Surrey schools, while enjoying a glass of wine and private after-hours access to Watts Gallery.

There will also be the opportunity for one member of each Art Department to sign up for a free one-year membership of Watts Gallery.

Please RSVP by completing the booking form by Friday 16 May.
