Join us for a special storytime with children's author Michael Parkin who just launched his second children's book about Biguana and his friend Pinto

Biguana and Pinto have been best, best friends since they were eggs! They grow up together and Biguana gets bigger… and bigger… and BIGGER! He gets so much attention from everyone because of how big he is that he forgets all about Pinto and what it’s like to be a good friend. Will he learn his lesson and make friends with Pinto again?⁠

Event Details

• Books will be available to purchase on the day. Your event ticket can be used for a £1 discount "Biguana" in the Visitors Centre.
• 3 booking slots within the hour - 10am, 10:20am & 10:40am. Each session is 10mins of storytime.
• The reading takes place in the Visitors Centre's Book Room.
• At least 1 accompanying adult per booking is required. We only have capacity for 1 Adult max per child.
• After storytime, Tea/Coffee will be available in the "Old Kiln" with colouring sheets.

Michael Parkin

Michael Parkin is a picture-book author and illustrator whose playful storytelling grew out of a love of drawing and making up stories. He lives in Onslow Village, near Watts Gallery, making him a wonderfully local creative voice for young readers.
