4. Free trails and play wood

As an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Watts Gallery – Artists’ Village has lots of beautiful areas around its site. Walk around our woodlands, stop off at our Verey Playwood and see our gardens during the changing seasons. Make the most of your visit by exploring the site with free trails and activity packs.

We're located along the North Downs Way, a 153 mile National Trail. Much of the peaceful trail follows the historical Pilgrims' Way, running through Surrey until it reaches the Kentish border, where it continues to Canterbury. Discover the different walks around the area.

5. Refreshments

After having fun exploring, head to the Cafe and refuel. You can also get something to takeaway and sit in one of our recommended picnic spots.

Try our famous Welsh rarebit, or choose from homemade soups, sandwiches and salads. We also offer a selection of cakes and cream teas with freshly baked scones and a wide drink selection.
