Taking inspiration from The Art of Wallpaper: Morris & Co. exhibition, you’ll experiment with an inventive mono print technique to transfer your own Morris-inspired floral design onto watercolour paper. Using richly pigmented acrylic inks, you’ll build layers of vibrant colour and decorative detail, bringing your pattern to life in a fresh and expressive way.
With Roz’s expert guidance, practical tips and encouragement throughout, you’ll discover how to compose a striking floral design full of movement and charm.
At the end of the session, your finished artwork will be framed — ready to take pride of place at home.
All materials are provided, including watercolour paper, acrylic inks, pencils, oil pastels and a picture frame.
Roz is a former New York textile designer turned contemporary artist and co-founder of Tipperleyhill. Specialising in florals, pattern, and expressive mark-making, she brings a designer’s eye for detail to her collaborative paintings with partner Abi. Her work is a celebration of vibrant colour and the philosophy that art is - and should be - for everyone.
