Take our new 360° tour

Watts Gallery - Artists' Village is a unique Arts & Crafts gem nestled in the Surrey Hills. You can discover stunning Victorian paintings and sculpture in the historic Watts Gallery, explore the Grade I listed Watts Chapel, taking in the beautiful woodlands and grounds and find out more about the lives of G F and Mary Watts at Watts Studios before taking a tour of the artists' home, Limnerslease.

Now before you visit us we are able to invite you to step into the Artists' Village and explore the Watts Studio, Mary Watts Gallery and Watts Chapel in our brand new free online virtual tour.

Using a 360° video environment you can take a tour starting in the last surviving studio of the great Victorian artist G F Watts OM RA (1817 – 1904) and experience the studio as if the artist had just stepped out.

You can then move on to the Mary Watts Gallery – the first permanent gallery dedicated to the artist and designer Mary Watts (1849 – 1938) – where, through objects from the Mary Watts Collection, you can discover Mary's extraordinary story.

The tour then concludes at the Grade-I listed Watts Chapel, an Arts and Crafts masterpiece designed by Mary Watts in the late 19th century.

Throughout the tour click on the hotspots (click & discover) to activate short videos of our Curators sharing the history of the Artists' Village and its founding artists, and uncover fascinating insights into key objects on display.

The tour operates as an interactive responsive 360° – on desktop, tablet, and mobile. And with two extra clicks (and the use of google cardboard) it also becomes a virtual reality experience that can be enjoyed anywhere.

To navigate between the areas please select from the teal menu, in the centre, at the top of the page.

To navigate inside the space please select from the teal menu, in the centre, at the bottom of the page (or on mobile and tablet the tour is responsive and will move as the device does).
